What is the Faith Gift Cards Program?

When you purchase Faith Gift Cards, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use the gift cards to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for Faith – without spending any additional money than you normally would each month anyway. All it takes is just a little planning by each of us. The program enables many vendors we already patronize to contribute their support to our children’s education at Faith!

Profit from the Gift Cards program funds professional development opportunities for Faith’s faculty and staff. When you use gift cards and certificates purchased through our Gift Card program to pay for goods and services in the stores where you already shop, you bless those who influence our children every day. Support from your family
alone can generate funds for Faith every time you grocery shop, go to the drugstore, put gas in your car, or go out to dinner.

How Does the Program Work?

You will have an opportunity to order individual gift cards or certificates from a wide variety of merchants that participate in this national program on a weekly basis. You can order as much or as little as you want each time. Faith purchases these gift cards from a national provider at a discounted rate - you pay Faith for the cards/certificates at face value just as you would if you bought them at the store or restaurant. The discount becomes our profit! The discounts range by retailer from a low of 1.5% for gas stations to over 20% from a few retailers. When you go to a store or a restaurant, simply pay for your purchase or your meal (and tip) with a gift card instead of your
debit/credit card or cash.

For example, Faith purchases a $25 Starbucks gift card at a 7% discount for $23.25, sells it to you for $25 and we keep $1.75. The $25 Starbucks gift card costs you $25 and is worth $25.

Imagine the possibilities…. If 300 families purchased $300 in Faith Gift Cards once a month throughout the school year -- conservatively assuming a 6% average return, our school would raise $48,600!

What are Faith Gift Card Teacher Accounts?

Our teachers are very excited about this program! We’ve set up a Gift Cards Account for every staff member at Faith. It operates like a bank account where you can make deposits of any amount whenever you’d like to gift someone on staff who helps or impacts you or your child. They can use the funds in their account at any time to buy the gift cards of their choice. You will receive a card that you can give to the staff member to let them know you’ve made a deposit for them, or you can give anonymously. This makes a great Christmas, birthday, Teacher Appreciation, or “thank
you” gift!
