Total Integration Scripture Memory Strategy
What?
• A Scripture Memory strategy that permeates every activity, event, and life of those associated with the family called Faith Christian School.  Click for this year's memory verses.
Why?
• To develop a love for God through growing a passion for His Word.
Who participates?
• K – 12th grade, staff, faculty, administration
How?
• All students will be dealing with the same verses no matter the grade. The intent is not mass memorization, but instead mass integration into the very fabric of the lives of our students.
• Passages of scripture will be picked that support the themes introduced throughout the school year. Themes will be fleshed out through staff retreat, athletics, chapel, High School retreat, grade retreats, mission endeavors, intramurals, etc.
• Verse cards will be distributed in the appropriate teachers' boxes in the workroom. Elementary K-5 will hand out cards at their discretion sometime on Monday. Jr. High students (6th-8th) and Sr. High students (9th-12th) will receive their verses in their Bible classes on Mondays.
• Pre K – 12th grade integrate the verse for the week in age appropriate ways throughout the week in the classroom, cafeteria, chapels, and extra-curricular activities.
• Verse memorization is tested through core Bible classes. All courses are encouraged to include verses as “extra-credit” on tests at the discretion of the teacher.
• All Faith faculty is responsible and held accountable for knowing the verses/passages assigned. Verse(s) are to be integrated into the staff devotions and department meetings each week.
• Verse(s) to appear on the web site each week.
• Reference to be posted on school marquee each week when space is available.
