These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
Sharon Neely, Principal
The dedicated elementary school teachers and staff work closely with parents as they follow the Biblical mandate to teach and train their children. The future of our children depends upon building a strong foundation that is best formed when the school partners with parents in the education of their children.
During the critical and foundational elementary years, teachers create a loving and caring environment for Faith students. Teachers strive to meet student needs academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. As life-long learners, the elementary teachers seek the most up-to-date research regarding education. Faith students thrive in an educational program that is rich in content and child-centered.
As joyful learners who know they are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” Faith students welcome new challenges and opportunities. Together with core classes of instruction, elementary students have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular classes including music, Suzuki violin, art, Spanish, physical education, Cub Club, Chess Club, worship dance, and sign language. All of these great opportunities help prepare elementary students not only for junior high, but for life.
“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your words are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Psalm 139:14
